Boat Delivery & Relocation

At MJ9 we can organise the delivery or relocation of your boat practically anywhere. We can organise road transport and shrink-wrapping to protect the boat on its journey or delivering your boat by sea by our experienced skippers & crew. Just contact us with all the details and we can start to sort it from there at highly competitive prices.

How much will it cost?

This will depend on a few factors –

• Is the boat sail or power?
• How far does the boat need to be moved?
• Will we need any further crew?

We will of course include in the quote any travelling costs but fuel and any berthing costs will be in addition to the quote given.

Can I come too?

Of course. Many owners love to accompany the boat especially if the boat is new to them or they feel they are not quite experienced enough to do the move by themselves, but do remember this is our job and we are not a sea school.

Safety

Safety is always the first thing on our minds. Before we set out on any delivery we will come along and have a quick look over the boat to ensure we are happy with the safety equipment aboard. We will of course endeavour to deliver your boat in the time we estimate but as you know we have no control over the weather or if anything happens to go awry with any of the equipment on board. In these cases we may have to sit it out in port or arrange any repairs required before we can continue with the delivery. These extra days will be charged at a daily rate plus actual base costs.
